Hi Michelle,
My 10 year old son, is your biggest fan, he is 3 chapters away from the end of Wolf Bane, and I found him in tears this evening, because he can't bare to finish your series. He says its like loosing his friends or part of his life because your characters have been such delights for him. He has asked if there are any planned opportunities to meet you to sign one of his books as he would love this. I've seen that you will be appearing in Oxford for the literary festival, but wasnt sure if this would be appropriate for children as it mentioned over a glass of wine? I thought it best to check before we bought tickets!
We have ordered God's and Warriors to give him a new series to try because he adores your writing style!
Thank you so much for your time,
Alice

Dear Alice, judging from your son’s intense reaction to nearing the end of the series, he sounds as if he has mastered the art of really getting a book! That’s a skill which will last him his whole life, and I congratulate him for it – even if it has made him tearful and emotional as he nears the end of Wolf Bane. As for signings, you’re right, the Oxford Literary Festival event wouldn’t be appropriate for a ten-year-old, as I’ll be discussing my adult books with a fellow author. And I’m afraid that currently I’ve no other events or signings planned, as most of my time is taken up with looking after my elderly mother. However that may change later in the year, and I will of course post details on my website. I’m so sorry that I can’t be of more help. In the meantime, Gods and Warriors sounds like an excellent idea (and maybe in the future, a re-reading of the Wolf Brother stories?). I think your son is lucky to have such a thoughtful and loving mother. With very best wishes for you both, Michelle
