I am Alexa and I am 11 I have been reading your books for a year. I have just finished outcast but my favourite character has always been wolf. Is all the information about wolf talk and body language true?

Dear Alexa, I’m really glad that you’ve been enjoying the Wolf Brother books, and that Wolf is your favourite character.  (I think he’s probably mine too; and I always found writing from his point of view weirdly easy to do!)  To answer your question, the information about wolf talk and body language in the stories is accurate to the best of my knowledge, and is based on what we currently know about how real wolves behave and communicate.  Having said that, though, Torak’s knowledge of wolf talk is more thorough than that of even the best human scientists today, because he’s in a story.  I hope that helps, and that you continue to enjoy the remaining books in the series.  May the guardian run with you!  With very best wishes, Michelle
